I first found Discovery Toys more than 15 years ago in California where I purchased a book called the Big Hungry Bear and the Red Ripe Strawberry for my daughter. That book has been a favorite of all 3 of my girls and still resides on our bookshelf in nearly perfect condition. The books are still filled with beautiful illustrations and are written in such a way that children love to hear them over and over and can easily learn to tell the story by themself because of the way they are written. Even though my girls are all grown up now, I choose to spend my spare time sharing these incredible items with others so that they can enjoy them as well.  I am a first time grandma with my beautiful little Chloe Madison who is now 6 months old.  When my daughter had her baby shower, she registered with me and asked people to only give educational toys to her for her baby.  Although Chloe has way too many toys, when you place them all in front of her she grabs for the Discovery Toys ones first every time.  Her favorite toy right now is the Caboodle Cube.  She also loves the little hands and feet teether that is no longer available.  A couple of other new mothers at church saw Chloe chewing away on that teether and asked my daughter where she got it because it seemed like the perfect size for little hands and mouths.  We are making sure that Chloe gets to know Discovery Toys from the very beginning!  And we don't have to teach her to love them -- that just comes naturally! 

I still believe that toys that provide a learning experience are the best for any child and when the toys sustain a child’s interest year after year, they are priceless.
