I am the wife of a military man, and a mother of 3 beautiful girls. My middle child was diagnosed Autistic over a year ago and every since then I have been striving to find any way I can help her learn and grow. That is how I discovered Discovery Toys, and the more I learned about the company, the more I wanted to be part of something that helps parents find USEFUL toys, and not just something that bangs or flashes lights. The desicion to become an education consultant was an easy one for me. Being a military spouse I needed flexible hours to accomodate deployments as well as something I could actually enjoy doing. I didn't just want a job, I wanted an opportuntiy to grow in something that I could enjoy doing and take with me on my many travels.
I made the decision to join Discovery Toys because it offers me the ability to be with my children when it counts and still earn a living. But it's more than that, It's an opportunity to help parents understand that their child's toys can be educational and fun at the same time.
