A Career That Makes a Difference!

I became a Discovery Toys distributor in March 2005 and this has totally changed my family's life!  My son was born with Down syndrome in March of 2000.  My goal from the beginning is to give him every chance to live a productive, independent, happy life.  One of the things I have learned from raising a child with developmental delays is the importance of giving him every opportunity for stimulation and learning especially in those critical first few years.  Toys are how children learn and I wanted to make sure that every toy that we brought into our household could help him learn and grow, was safe, and high quality!  The other important part is the toy needed to be open ended offering many different ways to play so he could feel successful when playing with it.  Discovery Toys meets all those things and more!!  These products offer a high level of open-ended play, encourage positive growth and development and last for a lifetime!!

When I realized I could also make some income for our familiy and stay home with my son, Discovery Toys became the perfect fit!!!  Plus as an added bonus, my family has enjoyed traveling the world with Discovery Toys!  We have traveled to Rio de Janeiro and Acapulco by earning the Discovery Toys incentive trips and will be jetting off ot Puerto Rico in February 2010!  

Because of Discovery Toys, my husband gets help with the family income, my family gets to experience traveling the world, my son participates with me in my business and is the first to show someone he meets the Discovery Toys catalog!  He is learning about business, has the best toys for learning,  and I'm growing everyday as I learn to acheive my dreams and fianancial freedom!
