Teach Play and Inspire!
Teach, play and Inspire is the tag line of our company and I truly believe it says it all. Eighteen years ago this past month, I decided to become and educational consultant with Discovery Toys. I went to my first party and fell in love with all the toys and needed to make some extra money, being a stay at home mom. I never dreamed that I would have found an career and my purpose in life at the age of 29. This company tugs at my heart in so many ways that I cannot even put it into words. Teach- my children have learned so much from the toys, my business and just about self care and self growth. I get to teach everyday, whether it is with those that attend my parties or with working with my team. Play- I get to play with my kids, my team and my husband. Because of this business, my kids get the best toys and I get to have the most fun playing with them. I am also fortunate to have what my children call "1,000" friends and I get to have the best time with them on trips at convention an also on our incentive trips. My husband and I get 5 days away every year to fun places like Hawaii and not have to be stressed out with the cost. Discovery Toys pays it all. Inspire- I get to inspire my children to dream and set goals and never settle for anything their heart desires. I also get to support wonderful women who will grow and develop into positive role models for their kids because of this business. Do I have to work? Do I sometimes get discouraged?
