A Career That Makes a Difference!

I chose to become an Educational Consultant for Discovery Toys when my first daughter was 6 months old.  At the time I was working as a Jr. and Sr, High School counsellor.  I found myself coaching parents all the time to spend more time with their kids.  In the meantime my child was in daycare and this just didn't feel right to me.  I started Discovery Toys on a casual basis to get the tax incentives of a home based business and to just see what was possible.  3 months later I was pregnant with my second child and I knew that when she was born I wanted to be a stay at home mom and turn Discovery Toys into a part-time job with full time pay!  By the time my second daughter was born I had reached my income goal and decided to quit my job.  I have now been in the business over 10 years.  My husband and I now have a family with 4 beautiful kids.  I know the opportunity to work from home has been the best thing I have done for my family.  A business with Discovery Toys is just that much more beneficial as my kids have really benefited from the great products!  It truely is a family business!   Along with personal and professional growth I know my relationship with Discovery Toys has empowered me to be a great mom.  The incentivce trips, awards and recognition has made a career with Discovery Toys both rewarding and fun!  I would encourage any parent to give it a try!
