I LOVE DISCOVERY TOYS!
I wish I could say I have a short list of favorites when it comes to Discovery Toys but I can't. I truly love their toys and enjoy watching my sons play knowing that they are learning as they play. Ahoy Pirate Pete is a favorite book of my 4 year old. It's great to see him developing his imagination and we love to laugh at the silly stories we come up with. My younger son who's 2, always goes back to Measure Up cups and loves to stack them and figure out which will fit, its a great bath toy too!
Discovery Toys have layers of learning. Both my boys love the Sunshine Market. My younger works on figuring out the shapes and which square it will fit through and my older son will play with it like a garage (or superhero fort!) and matches the shape on the little people to the door.
Another favorite with our family is Flip Flop Faces. It's a great toy to work on hand/eye coordination and it helps my 2 year old work on his colors and matching. It reinforces the concept of emotions by matching the color beanbag with the name of the emotion to the correct face. It's a fun game to promote sharing and taking turns.
The boys also enjoy is Busy Farm. My older son lines them up, sorts the animals in groups and does imagination play with them while my younger likes to make the animal sounds and use them to fill and dump a bucket. Its also a great toy to split up and take with you when going out to dinner or a trip!
